Welcome to DCMindBody a unique psychotherapy practice that embraces a holistic, integrative view of health and wellness.  In practice, I draw upon over 25 years of experience in the practice of psychotherapy and advanced training in mind-body medicine, brainspotting, and couples counseling to collaborate with you to promote change and healing.  Optimal health and wellness are the product of attending to the mind, body and spirit.  When any one of these is out of balance–due to illness, injury, life experiences, trauma, stress–we experience difficulty in our ability to function optimally physically and emotionally.

The concept of DCMindBody grew out of years of personal observation and experience in counseling individuals, couples, and groups.  In everyday life, each of us has moments of clarity where we recognize how our minds and bodies are intimately connected.  Working together, we foster your innate ability to develop insight and promote change.
